Barite often occurs as large veins or beds, as gangue mineral in various mineral veins, in limestones, sandstones and like deposits. The ores are generally low grade and require concentration by flotation to meet market specifications.

Barite, a very common barium containing mineral, has a certain glassy gloss. It is widely used in the fields of chemical, paper, textile, paint, chemistry, atomic energy, plastic, rubber and so on.

Barite powdering is generally divided into barite coarse powder processing (0-3MM), fine powder processing (20 mesh-400 mesh), and ultrafine powder deep processing (400 mesh-1250 mesh) and micro-powder processing of barite. (1250 mesh - 3250 mesh) Four types.

The first stage: crushed

The barite chunks of material are broken by a crusher to a fineness (15mm-50mm) that can enter the mill.

The second stage: milling

The broken barite small pieces of material are sent to the silo through a lifting machine, and then evenly and quantitatively sent into the grinding chamber of the mill via a vibrating feeder for grinding.

The third stage: Grading

After grinding, the material is graded by a separator. Unqualified powder is graded by the separator and returned to the host for re-grinding.

The fourth stage: collecting powder

The powder with fineness follows the air flow and enters the dust collector for separation and collection. The collected powder is sent from the conveying device to the finished product silo through the discharge port, and then is uniformly packed with powder tankers or automatic balers.

Fine powder processing generally use LM vertical roller mill; Ultra-fine powder processing is generally used LUM ultra-fine vertical mill, SCM series ultrafine mill.
