Barite Ore Grinding Plant
This barite ore grinding plant, the largest in North America, covers 66,000 square feet including the mill building, maintenance area, bag packing room and warehouse. It has two mills capable of grinding barite in excess of 90 tons per hour. The facility provides rail and truck load-out facilities and two robotic bagging and palletizing lines for shipment of pallets by truck.
- Barite ore grinding plant includes crusher, vibrating screen, jigging machine, and dewatering screen; sometimes it also needs ore washing machine and other equipment.
- The raw ore must be crushed, so that the barite ore particle size will be controlled in a certain range for washing. Therefore, the crushing equipment is essential in barite ore grinding plant. For the barite ores with less mud content, they can directly enter the gravity separation process after crushing and screening, but for the viscous and large mud content barite ore, it also need washing operation after crushing, so as to wash away the cohesive soil.
- The material after crushing and washing processes also need to go through the screening process for screening and classification, because the gravity separation has very strict granularity requirements, if the feed particle size is not within the optimal range, it often causes the decrease of mineral processing index, so the screening process is essential to the barite ore grinding plant.
