Talc Mineral Manufacturer In Nigeria

Nigeria is endowed with numerous mineral resources. Recent policy reforms have brought the solid minerals sector to the fore. An estimated reserve of over 100 million tones of talc has been obtained in Niger, Osun, Kogi, Kwara, Ogun, Taraba and Kaduna States. There are only two medium size talc processing plants currently operating in Nigeria and both are located in Niger State. The color of the Nigerian talc varies from white through milky-white to gray. The talc industry represents one of the most versatile sectors of the industrial minerals of the world. The exploitation of the vast talc deposits in Nigeria would therefore satisfy not only local demands but also that of the international markets as well.

Talc is used in many industries such as paper making, plastic, paint and coatings, rubber, food, electric cable, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, ceramics, etc. It finds use as a cosmetic (talcum powder), as a lubricant, and as a filler in paper manufacture.

Configured Equipment: Hopper+ Bucket Elevator Vibrating Feeder + Vertical Grinding Mill + Cyclones + Bag Filter

Stage 1. Talc are sent into hopper by truck, and then lifted into storage silo by bucket elevator.
Stage 2. Talc comes from hopper and feed into main mill uniformly by vibrating feeder, then goes into pipes.
Stage 3. In the grinding process, qualified final product after screening system will go into powder collector by pipes, and then go out from outlet. Unqualified product will be sent back to regrind until it is qualified.
